Chelsey Benna

Registered Massage Therapist

Chelsey recently moved to Smithers from the Kootenays, after several rewarding years at Kokanee Physiotherapy. She completed her education at the Okanagan College of Massage Therapy in 2023 and is a Registered Massage Therapist with the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC.

Before pursuing massage therapy, Chelsey worked in the trades, wind farming, and landscaping—experiences that deepened her appreciation for the clinicians who supported her physical health through both work and play. Her draw to massage therapy stems from a lifelong love of movement and the belief that physical activity and mental wellness are deeply connected.

Chelsey treats a wide range of conditions, including musculoskeletal injuries, peripheral nerve conditions, postural dysfunction, joint replacements, motor vehicle accidents, and chronic systemic issues. Her treatments are grounded in assessment-based myofascial release, joint and soft tissue mobilization, active release, neuromuscular techniques, and isolytic stretching. She is committed to continually expanding her knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, and compensation patterns and is currently completing her Bachelor of Health Sciences. Chelsey’s goal is to help alleviate discomfort and empower clients to take an active role in their recovery through education and home care.
