Trevor is passionate for all things active, especially those in the outdoors. After graduating in physiotherapy from UBC in 2010 he worked for nine years in orthopaedic clinics in Vancouver. In addition to his work in the clinic, he delivered on-field rehabilitation for athletes returning to play from injury, and also with the UBC varsity rugby and soccer teams, as well as with local high-performance soccer teams. In 2019, he made his dream happen and moved north to Smithers.
Trevor strongly believes in empowering his clients with the understanding and knowledge of the root cause of their pain. This passion motivates him to listen and connect with his clients, understand their story, and work with them to provide personalized and comprehensive care. Trevor is dedicated in providing up to date, evidence-based treatments for all his clients. He has training in manipulative therapy, acupuncture, CGunn IMS needling, Functional Range Conditioning, and is proficient in movement analysis and exercise prescription. When working with clients, Trevor uses a combination of these techniques to reduce pain and restore normal movement and function. He then works with them to develop individualized exercise and self-care routines to restore optimal health and performance.
Trevor enjoys working with all clients to help them achieve their health and/or performance goals. He has a special interest in the management of arthritis, hip/groin pain, concussion and post-concussion syndrome, strength training, injury prevention and return to play/sport rehabilitation.
