FAQ

Below are a few commonly asked questions from patients who are interested in physiotherapy. Please feel free to get in touch to find out more.

Will physiotherapy help me?

All physiotherapists are university trained professionals. We are specialists in the human body and are experts at reducing pain, restoring mobility and increasing strength and endurance. Check out our resources page to view some of the ways that Physiotherapy can help you.

How long is each appointment?

Appointment times vary by type. Generally, your initial appointment will be 40 minutes and the subsequent appointments will be 20 minutes (plus additional time for exercise in our gym). Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your initial appointment to allow time for paperwork.

An initial massage appointment is one hour with at least 30 minutes for a follow-up.

How much does each appointment cost?

Physiotherapy:

Private - Initial $80 / Follow-up $65

MSP - Initial $20 / Follow-up $15
(our staff is able to check your MSP eligibility using your Carecard number when you book the appointment)

ICBC - Initial $45 / Follow-up $40

Massage:

1 hour - $95  (MSP/ICBC - $65)

Do I need a referral from a doctor?

No. Physiotherapy and Massage Therapy treatments can be provided without a doctor's referral. However, a referral from your doctor may be required by your Extended Health Plan. Please check with your plan administrator to see if this effects you.

Do you liaise with my doctor?

With your permission, we provide your doctor with a written report detailing our diagnosis, treatment and proposed progression. We have a good working relationship with the local doctors and surrounding specialists within the region.
